GETTING SOMETHING FOR NOTHING HAPPENS…rarely! Luck does occasionally hit those with “duh” written across their countenances, but I have observed that be it in hunting or in matters of life, luck most often goes to those who prepare and judiciously, persistently execute their goals.
Waiting for something good to happen? Plan to wait and wait. Few will see payoff. Alternatively, consider your unique qualities and then develop goals consistent with them. Then prepare yourself so you can fulfill the goals. Get a plan. Work it! Work it harder. See a little success. Work it. Bingo! But it wasn’t bingo—just luck—was it?
