Coaching Approach for Entrepreneurs

Philosophy:  Entrepreneurs in the direct sales industry are enterprising leaders!  While building a strong financial future, they encounter challenges that demand increased resiliency and skills.  Skill-based coaching provides goal setting, strategies, communication, team building and general leadership to grow the business and take control of one’s personal life.  Coaching will enhance current strengths and can be used to counter weaknesses.  Coaching will build motivation, confidence and focus leading to desired results.  The coaching enables and energizes; clients “own” their development and its execution in their businesses and lives.

Description

  • Decipher what prompts potential coaching
  • Delineate what coaching provides
  • Determine pricing and payoffs
  • Finalize a short- or longer-term arrangement

Outcomes

  • Client-coach mutual comfort and match
  • Client-coach confidence in attaining desired results
  • Signed coaching agreement

Involvement

1-2 meetings (before coaching initiation)

ASSESS, VISION & PLAN

Focus (with Coach)

  • Clarify the current reality
  • Identify a viable, energizing future state
  • Anchor the future state with goals for development and/or application
  • Build a change plan—A new path:  mindset, systems, skills, approaches, actions

Outcomes

  • A clear current state—for readiness to proceed
  • Future state identified with rationale for its attainability
  • Development or application goals, which may be written
  • Plan forward to reach results

Involvement

1-2 sessions per issue
(Issues may be addressed one at a time or bundled for synergistic development)

  • Grow and go:  Execute the change plan—The new path:  mindset, systems, skills, approaches, actions
  • Assess situations and anticipate challenges
  • Generate and evaluate options
  • Lean in for accountability

  • New, useful views of self and situations
  • New skills and/or approaches to deal with challenges
  • Executable actions that portend success and deliver

  • Specify the new, current reality

Involvement

1 session
