ROCKS ARE NOT KNOWN FOR MOVING. I have observed rocks. They are there year after year. They are dependable. Many times Rudy, my marksman, would brace himself on a rock to get a sure shot. You might say he had a solid shot.
Now consider a rock-solid leader. You don’t think of one who is flighty. You don’t picture one who is all titles and no engagement. You don’t picture someone who follows others’ lead and then claims the credit. You do think of consistency, action, and forthrightness. You picture a leader that others follow.
