Shot 39: DREAM YOUR DREAM

— To follow is a bullet of wisdom on leadership.  It comes from Tom’s rifle, named Shot, who has seen it all.  You’ll get the drift by clicking Blog in the menu above.

“I HAVE A DREAM!”  A rifle killed the man who said that.  Makes me sick!  My kind can be good tools, and yet bad ones too—used badly, that is.  But, I wander…dream’n is the topic.  Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. had an immense dream.  It was his, and he believed it so deeply that he acted on it in times of adversity.  He led with his dream, and that was contagious!  He led others.

To be the leader, you need a dream (or a vision), and it has to be yours, such that you pursue it when adversity strikes.  If it’s not yours, the dream will falter, and so will your leadership.
