Shot 242: CONFIDENT CONFIDENCE

     “I HAVE CONFIDENCE IN ME!”  So, sings Maria in the Sound of Music.  I have felt the same way about my shooting abilities.  I am a long rifle and a single shot, because that’s all I need.
     Leaders who have confidence in themselves are typically more effective than those who lack confidence.  Furthermore, typically, as confidence increases, so does leader effectiveness.  But do not mistake confidence with arrogance.  In fact, research shows that humility plus confidence is the winning formula.  Why?  This blog has covered the answer in the past.  It’s this:  Confident, yet humble, leaders welcome feedback, and they are coachable.
