IF IT’S HARD, QUIT. I’ve seen that “advice” played out. It rarely works. You see, quitting (usually) is for quitters. Not good. Quitting is easy, but seldom wise.
Dr. Francesco Gino has some useful advice on “How to Embrace the Difficult.” Here it is: 1. Approach the situation with curiosity. 2. Reframe the situation (examples: from problems to opportunities, from blame to understanding, from negative to positive). 3. Listen to understand, providing for another point of view. 4. Exercise receptiveness, signaling it. 5. Embrace vulnerability.
