To be surefooted we need balance on the path. You know, my marksman had to have balance. Certainly, every adventure had its upsetting moments, but we had strategies to surmount them. One was seeing the goal ahead. Yes, eyes on the goal, not the individual steps. Another was perspective: Little things stayed small when seeing the big picture of what we were about. That reminds me of a third strategy: noting and adjusting for feedback on the important things, not everything. Well, that’s enough for now.
