WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? As a rifle, I kind of like it, but I’m not sure. What are guns? Some say weapons, but that sounds violent. Okay, I digress. What does it mean to stick to one’s guns? What about sticking, do I like? Abide, continue, remain, attach, be faithful? I give.
Leaders, there are times when you need to stick to your guns. By that I mean stay the course you have elected. Followers have a hard time going from one thing to another, to another, to another. What’s the plan, Stan? No matter what plan you choose someone will tell you that it’s wrong. Oh, there are times when one should abandon a bad idea, but keep in mind that you can often be successful with imperfect plans. Stick with it. It’s impossible to be effective if you give up.
