THERE IS MORE THAN ONE WAY TO SKIN A CAT. I have been told this, but I have not witnessed it. Deer, elk, rabbit, pigs—I have seen all of them skinned. Never a cat. Perhaps I am too literal. I’ll try to consider a metaphor. Hmmm.
Leaders, do not constantly search for the best way. Select a good way and get with it. Yes, a great idea will win many followers, but it is also true that great ideas frequently fail. You see persistence is usually the key variable. You can win with a good plan and persistence. Get a reasonable plan and then get out in front and encourage others to join you. Stay at it. You’ll be successful.
