–Below is a leadership bullet from Tom’s rifle named Shot–
HAVE YOU EVER BUSHWHACKED? Not have you ever been bushwhacked? That’s different. To bushwhack is the first step to building a trail. It’s not easy to blaze a trail through a wilderness. Nope, it’s not for the faint hearted.
Enter the leader. Leaders are bushwhackers, if…. Wait. What’s the “if”? Picture a trailblazer whacking through brush. The person turns around to see no one following. Is this person a leader? You see, leaders go into new territory, but they hardly lead if no one follows. You might have a new path, and it may be a good one, but if others do not follow, no leadership. Leaders have to address commitment. As mentioned before, the quality of a decision is effective only if those who carry it out are committed to it. Leading people is just as important as having great ideas.
