CAN YOU BE BOTH? I see “leaders” sacrificing family for fame or fortune. I don’t like it. Rudy would never have forsaken his family for higher gain. Neither would have Teddy Roosevelt. He had many critics but none would have declared him to be anything other than a devoted husband and father.
You and I are not ignorant. We know of leaders who lost it with their family while achieving success elsewhere. But why? How can it be true, we ask? Deep down we question if truly they were leaders. We want them to be leaders in their lives as well as their professions. To those who do we award higher acclaim. I, those close, and those far—even history—beg you to lead comprehensively.
