Shot 306: DRIFTERS

–Below is a leadership bullet from Tom’s rifle named Shot–

WE HAD SOME DRIFTERS work on the farm.  They would drift by looking for work, and one day they’d be gone—sometimes without seeking a paycheck.  You can’t count on them…except to drift.
Leaders know the value of good followers, employees, if you will, who stick with it.  No matter the task, leaders find them at the end of the day and ready for more.  Oh, to have good employees.  Hire “can do” and you get ability, but will it stay around?  Hire “will do” and you get stick-to-it-tiveness (perseverance).  Of course, aim for both, but don’t neglect the latter.
