SMART ALECK! It has been said that knowledge is power. It also has been said that knowing what we don’t know is wisdom. Sounds good, but I’m confused. Sounds like wisdom is more knowledge, just in the missing areas. Also, how can one know what one does not know? Now, you’re confused. Is it possible that knowledge closes our minds to that which we do not know?
Leaders should be wise, and they should also be knowledgeable. They should not be close-minded, however. Sadly, knowledge can close out that which we do not know. Leaders need good judgment. They need to open their minds: Look at things from different points of view and broaden their perspectives to test out what is true and best. They would be wise to do so.
