IT’S WHAT THEY DESERVE. That’s not grace. Grace is getting better than what is deserved. I’m glad Rudy was a man of grace. I never would have lived up to a standard of perfection…at least with most shooters.
Grace, is it for leaders? Hmmm. Let’s see. Accountability is important. And so is holding someone accountable. Perfection is desired, but to demand that could be too much. Employees may be reluctant to try to accomplish great things if they feel they must be perfect. Great employees who do great work will err a little from time to time. Will you still accept them? Do they know that you will accept an occasional mistake?
