Leaders, you are biased. Recognize two common biases that may ruin you. One is confirmation bias. This is a bias to what one expects to see. The other is desirability bias: what one wants to see. Either can compromise your intelligence and even work against truth. Get this: The more intelligent you are, the less likely it is that you will see something other than what you expect/desire. Be careful, and challenge yourself to see things from multiple and different perspectives. In fact, go further. Look for reasons that you might be wrong. Then adjust for what you discover to be true.
