Trash talk aside, humility is good. Sounds like a Bible thumper on the loose: Humble yourselves before the Lord; God gives grace to the humble. Apart from any religious connotation, humility is valuable for a leader. Consider the book by Jim Collins, Good to Great, wherein “Level 5” (the best) leaders are described as having determination and humility. Heroes, no; modesty, yes. I-centrism, get lost; compassion, welcome. Indeed, mixed with determination, humility kills!
