I WAS A DIGITAL RIFLE. My marksman used his second digit to pull my trigger. (Well, I tried to be funny.) In reality, I was quite analog—pull the trigger and I shoot. Very basic.
Things have changed. It’s a digital world now. At least, it’s digital-first. If it’s not done on a screen, it can’t work. Does that mean leadership has changed? Let’s see: Still need collaboration; vision is important, as it was; better keep conflict management; do not drop integrity; communication retains value; trust stays as king; and so on. Nope, good leadership endures—even in this digital age.
