–Below is a leadership bullet from Tom’s rifle named Shot–
EAT A GOOD BREAKFAST! Ever heard that? I have. All of us on the farm heard it. Breakfast refreshment. It was strength for the day. Whether on a hunt or laboring in the hot sun or bitter cold, breakfast supplied sustainment. Yep, heard it often: “Eat a good breakfast.”
I will bet you have heard that “Feedback is the breakfast of champions.” This phrase made popular by Ken Blanchard characterizes a critical component for leaders: Feedback. Some fear it and avoid it. Some only seek out or attend to positive feedback. It makes them feel good. Then there are some who love feedback in all forms. They learn from it. They get try new things, seek more feedback, and try yet more things. For them, feedback is food for learning and improving. These are the champions.
